Frequently Asked Questions

Get to know how our Website as a Service (WaaS) model works so you know exactly what to expect.

General Model Overview

Website as a Service is a subscription-based website model. Instead of paying a large upfront cost, you pay a predictable monthly fee that includes your websites design, hosting, security, maintenance, and ongoing support.

Yes. We can migrate an existing website into our Website as a Service platform. However, the scope and cost depend on the size, structure, and condition of your current site. During onboarding, we review your existing website and outline what can be transferred, what may need to be rebuilt, and any associated costs before development begins.

Our Website as a Service plans include managed hosting, updates, and ongoing technical care. While you can request content updates at any time, the technical management of the site remains within our managed environment. If you decide to transition away from the service in the future, we can discuss a buyout or migration option based on your site’s scope and complexity.

Your monthly subscription typically includes:

  • Website hosting

  • Core website design and structure

  • Security and monitoring

  • Software updates and backups

  • Performance optimization

  • A set amount of content updates and support

This keeps your website online, secure, and up to date without surprise costs.

We can integrate many common third-party tools, such as booking platforms or CRM systems. However, complex integrations or custom API work may require additional scope and pricing.

Yes. We set up basic analytics tracking so you can monitor visitor activity and site performance. In addition, we create a complimentary analytics dashboard that gives you a clear, easy-to-read overview of your website’s performance metrics. If you require advanced tracking configurations, custom reporting, or ongoing analytics management, we can scope those services separately.

Yes. We include domain-based business email with all plans. The number of email addresses depends on your selected plan. If you require additional email accounts beyond your plan’s included allowance, we can add them for an additional cost.

We include basic on-page SEO best practices, such as clean site structure and technical optimization. However, we do not include ongoing SEO campaigns, content creation, link building, or ranking guarantees in our standard plans. If you require ongoing SEO services, we scope and bill them separately as an additional service.

You own the content you provide, including your text, images, and branding. However, your website is delivered as part of our managed Website as a Service platform, which includes the design system, hosting environment, updates, and ongoing support. Because of this structure, the site is not automatically transferred as a standalone product.

If you cancel your subscription, your website remains active until the end of your billing period. After that, we take it offline and archive it unless a buyout or migration option has been arranged in advance. If you ever wish to explore a transfer, we can discuss available options based on your site’s scope and complexity.

Yes. Our WaaS plans run month to month unless we state otherwise. If you cancel, your site remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Plans, Pricing, and Features

We design the monthly subscription for ongoing management and routine updates. It does not include full website redesigns, major structural changes, custom web applications, advanced e-commerce functionality, extensive SEO campaigns, copywriting from scratch, or logo and brand redesigns. For larger or specialized needs, we quote these projects separately as one-time services.

No. Domain registrations and renewals are always billed separately from your Website as a Service plan. Because domain pricing varies by extension and renewal term, we register or renew domains on your behalf and invoice accordingly. We review domain requirements during onboarding and confirm all associated costs upfront.

eCommerce functionality is available as an additional option and is not included in standard plans. The cost depends on the complexity of your store, including the number of products, payment integrations, shipping setup, and any custom features required. During onboarding, we review your needs and provide a clear scope and pricing before development begins.

Yes. After your development brief is completed and reviewed, you will receive a secure payment link for the first month of your selected plan. Once payment is received, we begin the design and development of your website.

Absolutely. Plans can be adjusted as your business grows or your needs change.

Our Website as a Service plans include an initial 3-month term. After that period, plans operate month to month and do not require long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time in accordance with your billing cycle after the initial 3-month term.

Content Updates & Support

We include reasonable content updates as part of your monthly plan. These updates typically cover text changes, image swaps or updates, revised service information, and minor layout adjustments that keep your site current and accurate. In addition, we design these updates to support normal business changes and ongoing upkeep while keeping your website running smoothly.

We include a monthly allowance for content updates in each plan to ensure fair use and predictable turnaround times for all clients. We base update limits on the number of requests submitted within a billing period, as well as the scope and complexity of each request. Any unused updates expire at the end of the month and do not carry over.

If you ever need more updates than your plan includes, you have a few options. We can handle additional updates at an hourly or per-request rate, scope larger changes as a one-time project, or help you upgrade to a higher plan with a larger update allowance. Before we bill anything, we always notify you and get your approval for any additional costs.

You can submit update requests at any time. However, we handle requests within the limits of your plan and during normal business hours. Depending on scope, urgent or same-day requests may count as multiple updates.

We complete most standard updates within 1 to 3 business days. If a request involves more complex changes, we clearly communicate the expected timeline before we begin the work.

We handle the core content creation for your website based on the information you provide in your development brief. This allows us to reduce your workload and move the project forward efficiently. You’re welcome to provide additional points, revisions, or refinements to ensure the content reflects your voice and goals. If a project requires extensive custom copywriting beyond standard scope, we will outline any additional costs in advance.

We source and place appropriate images as part of your website build. This may include licensed stock imagery, AI-assisted visuals, or media you provide. If you have specific photos, branding assets, or product images, you’re encouraged to share them during onboarding. Custom photography, videography, or extensive graphic design services are available as separate projects if required.

You retain ownership of the content you provide, including text, images, and branding materials. Any licensed assets or third-party components remain subject to their respective licensing terms.

Timeline & Development

Development timelines vary based on project scope, plan level, and how complete your onboarding content is. During onboarding, we review your requirements and provide a clear build timeline before development begins. Simpler sites typically launch faster, while more complex sites may take additional time.

We include a structured review process during the build, which allows for reasonable revisions based on your feedback. Significant changes or major redesign requests outside the original scope may require additional cost or extended timelines.

Your project timeline depends on receiving your development brief and supporting content. If content is delayed, it may delay your site launch. We’ll keep you informed of any timeline changes if additional content is needed.

Payments & Account Status

If a payment lapses, we may temporarily suspend your website until you bring the account up to date.

Yes. If you choose to cancel your plan, we can discuss a buyout or migration option. Because each website is built within our managed service framework, buyout and migration pricing depends on the size, structure, and complexity of your site. During that process, we outline what can be transferred and any associated costs before moving forward.

Yes. If you are not satisfied with our service during the initial development phase, we will refund your initial payment. We want you to feel confident in your decision to work with us. Refund requests must be made before the website goes live. Ongoing monthly payments are non-refundable once the site is active.
